If you want better gas mileage, you can pay more for the Ford Escape Ecoboost engine. This raises power outlay to 179 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque, still not matching the Honda. The gas mileage is boosted to only 23 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, falling short of the Honda. Both have car-like handling, but the Honda does enjoy a tighter turn circle for tricky maneuvering.
Spaciousness
