Today, there are many ways that you can connect your Honda through your smartphone. One of those is through HondaLink®, and you’ll be able to familiarize yourself with this convenient feature below. To find out more, give us a call at Honda of Chantilly!
HondaLink® Connectivity
HondaLink was first unveiled on the 2013 Accord, and since then, it has become available with most Honda vehicles. It allows you to sync your smartphone to your model so that you can access certain features. For example, it's easy to make service appointments and receive any recall notifications once you’ve downloaded the app. Along with that, you are able to start your vehicle from your house through optional Remote Engine Start and find where you parked your car. HondaLink® also lets you access apps, contacts, music, and more from your touchscreen when you’re driving around. Not just that, thanks to this amenity, it’s easy to place hands-free calls to catch up with friends or select a song without taking your eyes off of the road.
Additional Features
If you’re driving a vehicle that is enabled with HondaLink®, you’re going to enjoy some additional perks. For starters, you can always connect your Alexa device that you have at home so that your favorite playlists and shopping lists are at your fingertips. You might also take advantage of the Personal Concierge feature, which allows you to find specialists who can quickly help you when you’re planning a trip and book hotel reservations. Even further, it’s easy to refer to the app to see how many miles you currently have on your vehicle, see your driving score, and find out if you qualify for any discounts for insurance. Plus, if your vehicle has Roadside Assistance1, you will have automatic help anytime you might need towing or end up with a flat tire.

Do you want to find an automobile that comes with HondaLink®? It’s as easy as selecting either the New Vehicles or Search Used tabs located at the top of the page. Once you’ve chosen a link and the next page has loaded, you can read through descriptions of specs and look through photos. Some models even include videos, which you can view to check out its interior and exterior more closely. When you click on the images, you’re going to be taken to a page that provides an entire breakdown of the features every model comes with and its crash test ratings. You can also use the buttons to the right of every photo to make the car-buying process easier.
