Honda’s first entry into the all-electric midsize SUV space is dubbed the 2024 Honda Prologue, and we at Honda of Chantilly are recommending our customers who have been curious about EVs to lease one. Performance

While remaining vigilant of potholes and road bumps is always recommended, you’ll be happy to know that the standard multi-link front suspension and multi-link rear system will cushion any impacts felt. 

Charging and Range

Electric vehicles are relatively new to the automotive industry as a whole, which is why we understand that our customers might be suspicious as to how far the 2024 Honda Prologue can travel. Don’t worry, as this EV earns a 296-mile EPA range rating³. That gives you enough to for errands around town a few times over, along with an extra trip to Fairchester Woods Park. If you’ve embarked on a few adventures with your vehicle and it’s beginning to run low on battery, you can replenish it at a rate of 34.1 miles per hour spent charging⁴ when using a Level 2 Charger. DC Fast Charging can accomplish the same task in a quarter of the time by restoring 65 miles of range per 10-minute cycle⁵, though using this method frequently can lead to premature battery wear. 

Leasing

If you’re hesitant about springing for EV technology, leasing gives you the opportunity to rent the vehicle for about two to four years for a lower cost than you’d find with a financing contract. If you would rather pivot back to an internal combustion engine by the end of the term, you’re welcome to trade in the Prologue and lease another car. However, if you became a fan of the convenience and monetary benefits of owning an electric model, our team would be happy to set you up with a financing plan to eventually own the SUV outright.
