SAFETY
Multi-Angle Rearview
Camera Choose from three different angles-normal, top-down, and wide-for a better view of what's behind you whenever you shift into Reverse.
Always visually confirm that it is safe to drive before backing up; the rearview camera display does not provide complete information about all conditions and objects at the rear of your vehicle.
Walk Away Auto Lock®
After you park and shut the doors, just walk eight feet away from the HR-V with the key fob to lock up automatically, thanks to Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock®. When you come back, you can unlock just by grabbing one of the front-door handles.
Walk Away Auto Lock® will only function when the key fob is moved eight feet from the vehicle after all doors have been closed.
Blind Spot Information System
The blind spot information system can detect and alert you to the presence of other vehicles to the side of your HR-V, and with cross traffic monitor, it can alert you to approaching vehicles detected when you're backing up.
The systems are not a substitute for your own visual assessment before changing lanes or backing up, and may not detect all objects, or provide complete information about conditions, behind or to the side of the vehicle. System accuracy will vary based on weather, size of object, and speed. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
